JEDDAH: Carmen Duma became the first ladies back-to-back winner and the player with the most number of victories at three when she triumphed again during the OFBC Monthly Tournament for May at the Ice Land Bowling Center here.

Duma, also the Bowler of the Month for April and February, had barely qualified but then showed her mettle during the two games with handicap championship round to win the ladies division.

Duma easily won from Farida de Guzman 380 to 340 pinfalls with Gloria Papa second runner-up on 341. Fedelyn Bustinera rounded out the first four winners on 324.

Regino Mendoza struck for his first victory following two second runner-up finishes to become the men’s May Bowler of the Month.

Mendoza, a beginning bowler, was an easy winner like Duma in his division. He carded 406 pinfalls, well clear of first runner-up Bash Langa who returned 377. Lexter Atienza took the second runner-up position on 357 while Robert De Guzman clinched fourth place on 353. Zikato Construction through Operations Manager Cesar Alberto Zuniga is the tournament sponsor.
