The Dirab Ladies Group hit the Dirab Golf & Country Club course last week for its November Monthly Medal tournament that coincided with an outing at Dirab by the diplomatic ladies.

Fiona Elsdon was the winner of the Alpha Group by countback from Mi Jung Yoo after both lady golfers tied on 72.

Roberta Hobbs and Roselyne Delpon de Vaux were the champion and runner-up in Beta Group on 79 and 81.

Claiming the top prizes in Omega Group were Fauzia Shamim 74 and Cheryl Williamson 77.

KJ Choi and Sigrid Steinaisdotti took home the awards for longest drive and nearest to the pin.

The tournament was sponsored by Marriott Riyadh Hotel and the club.

The wife of Moroccan ambassador, Nouzha Alaoui Lamrani, headed the visit by the diplomats’ wives. Lamrani handed over prizes to the winners. Also, a Moroccan bazaar from Khairat Almaghrib was organized on the occasion.

The Dirab Ladies Group’s 2014-2015 wraparound season started last October, the month it also holds its annual Pink Ladies Tournament in support of the worldwide campaign for breast cancer awareness month.
