Bank AlJazira Fawri Money Transfer Services edged out Jeddah Lanes for honors to become only the third outfit to repeat as Team of the Week during the 10th session in the OSN-FTBJ 49th Open Conference bowling tournament here.

Jeddah Lanes and Fawri traded places in the first two games although Fawri had to share the points for fourth and fifth place with Kabalen to fall behind by half a point to the host bowlers.

Fawri, the first honoree in the tournament, then got the break it needed by winning the third game, with Jeddah Lanes two points behind in third place and unable to catch the eventual Team of the Week winner even as it posted the top overall output.

The sides were separated by the slimmest of margins at the end of the session with Fawri on 43.5 points and Jeddah Lanes on 43.

Taurus/Amigos were 10 points further back on 33 followed by Kabalen and Habagat, which were also half a point adrift of each other on 31.5 and 31.

Red Dragons compiled 26 points in sixth place with MC Hammer and Geely Car tied on 24. Sky Freight-OSN, the defending champion, had 21 points. The last three teams to finish on the night were AFM-Moe 19 points, Fineboys Rhinoz 12 and SPBC Bowlers.
