NEW DELHI: India’s Chiragh Kumar admitted he was “all over the place” on Saturday as he clung to a narrow one-shot lead at the Panasonic Open India despite shooting a disappointing even-par 72.

Starting the day with a three-stroke lead, Kumar double-bogeyed the first hole and dropped three more shots on the back nine but he also holed five birdies to lie one ahead of Siddikur Rahman.

“Right now, I’m glad the round is over. The way I was playing, I’m happy with the score I came back with,” said the Indian, 31, whose aggregate is 11-under 205 after rounds of 67, 66 and 72.

“I was all over the place today. I’m not disappointed, I’ll take it as a positive,” he added, according to comments released by the Asian Tour.

Bangladesh’s Siddikur, a one-time winner at Delhi Golf Club, birdied the last hole to card 68, one shot behind Kumar, with Chikka S and Zamal Hossain another two back on eight-under.

Thailand’s Sattaya Supupramai was disqualified for signing for an incorrect score.
