KHULNA, Bangladesh: Tamim Iqbal hit a maiden double-century as the first Test between Bangladesh and Pakistan ended in a draw in Khulna on Saturday.

The hosts, trailing Pakistan by 296 runs on the first innings, made 555 for six in their second knock before play was called off at the Sheikh Abu Naser stadium.

Tamin scored 206, the most runs by a Bangladeshi batsman in a Test innings, and Imrul Kayes hit 150 while sharing an opening stand of 312.

The second and final Test starts in Dhaka on May 6.
