JEDDAH: The fourth season of Jeddah Champions Trophy hard tennis cricket tournament, organized by team Azizia Deccan and sponsored by Ford-Al Jazirah Vehicles — for the fourth time running under the co-sponsorship of Powerbar and Empower Contracting, started off here at Sulemania grounds.

Since hitting the news with its insertion in September last year, the tournament has lived up to its expectations of providing unlimited entertainment and ever extending brotherhood to its participants. Starting with 8 teams in its inaugural edition the tournament has spread its roots deep in the cricketing fraternity of Jeddah and already boasts off 32 participating teams from every nook & corner of the city.

Speaking on behalf of the organizing committee, the Chairman of JCT Ali Mohammed Khan thanked the participating teams, supporters, sponsors and every individual linked with JCT for their outstanding contribution toward the success of the previous seasons and urged them to continue their great work in making this journey a memorable one.

With 10 matches already played in the first week and 53 matches still to go, the tournament is scheduled for a period of 9 weeks with the finals to be played on 2nd of Jan’15.
