Fuddruckers of Elmer Delos Santos defeated United Naghi 68-58 in the MYN-JBL Lifestylez Basketball Tournament at the Bin Mahfouz court in Andalus District here.

Bouncing back from a previous defeat, Fuddruckers was unstoppable offensively. United Naghi tried hard but later lost steam in the final quarter. Marual scored 12 points for Fuddruckers and was adjudged as the Lifestylez best player of the game while Recayo top-scored with 25 points for United Naghi.

Hyundai Castrol of Dennis Elmenzo beat BMW 66-58. Hyundai Castrol played trapping defense in the whole game to defuse the offensive plays of BMW. Hyundai Castrol managed to hang on up to the final buzzer had sounded. Teves chipped in 20 points for Hyundai Castrol and was adjudged as the JBL best player of the game while Seguis led BMW with 20 points .

Nexus Flight Operation Services of Enrico Reyes defeated Solid North 67-63. It was a ding-dong battle between the two ball clubs. Nexus Flight Operation Services played their last offense well and looked to the open man for a higher percentage offense. Bajas scored 19 points for Nexus and was adjudged as the Lifestylez best player of the game while Pablo Viscayno had 24 points for Solid North.

In Friday games, GIG Jeddah of Ernie Cabawatan & Jon Azupardo beat Barangay Fame 67-52. Both teams played running game. Barangay Fame came short in the final quarter while GIG Jeddah connected on short jumpers. Sipat top-scored with 12 points for GIG Jeddah and was adjudged as the Arabnews best player of the game while Santos led Barangay Fame with 10 points.

Power Center of Eboy Bunquin and Fritz defeated Al Shaheq 73-66 in overtime. It was back-to -back overtime losses for Al Shaheq. Power Center had a chance to win in regulation but they did not convert the 2 crucial free throws. Garcia scored 31 points for Power Center and was adjudged as the Lifestylez best player of the game while Dela Bueno collected 21 points for Al Shaheq.

Al Naghi of Reggie Maga blasted Chili’s 62-42. Al Naghi executed their offense well in the whole game. Chili’s tried hard but committed many crucial errors in the fourth quarter. Nanding Unas top score with 18 points for Al Naghi and was adjudged as the JBL best player of the game while Depharine had 12 points for Chili’s.

FCCI of Mario Tumawak and Ariel Acedera beat Unicorp 64-54. FCCI went to its main man Ricky Reloj in the final quarter as Unicorp continued to go back in their game. Ricky had 26 points for FCCI and was adjudged as the Lifestylez best player of the game while Pabustan contributed 24 points for Unicorp.
