JEDDAH: Gensoul Lion of Coach Glenn Musngi defeated Gensoul Eagle 101-68 in the 2016 Titan Watch-JBL Basketball here in Khalidia basketball court Jeddah.

Lion showed their offensive supremacy over Eagles seconds half of game. Bong Umlas scored 36 points and was adjudged as the Titan Watch best player of the game. Jayjay Hernandez also scored 25 points for the Gensoul Lion while Joel Silvestre top score with 24 points for the Gensoul Eagle.

Knights of Coach Rey Maddatu beat Pabebe 109-93. Knights went to the open man in the final quarter. Pabebe tried to contain their offense but missed important baskets in the crucial minutes of the game. Bernard Carino led the Knights with 26 points and was adjudged as the JBL best player of the game while Macascas had 21 points for Pabebe.

Pinas Hotshot of Ruben Del Rosario continued their winning streak and defeated Old Dawgs 77-61. Pinas Hotshot played their offense well in the fourth quarter as Old Dawgs applied man-to-man defense. Jasper had 24 points for Pinas Hotshots and was adjudged as the Titan Watch best players of the game while Basinang top score with 12 points for Old Dawgs.

In Thursday’s games, VICCM of Dennis Elmenzo beat Malmons 118-79. VICCM this time showed improvement in their offense. They also applied their trapping defense well in the whole game. Malmons ball handlers find difficulties to orchestrate their offense. Carbonel top score with 38 points for VICCM and was adjudged as the Giordano Fashions best player of the game while Camposano had 20 points for Malmons.

Jeddah Titans of Harry Penaranda defeated Llamados 98-67. Labio chipped in 20 points for Jeddah Titans and was adjudged as the JBL best player of the game while Taguba had 19 points for the Llamados.

Movenpick Resort of Jeoffrey Barbudo beat NRF 117-109. Movenpick Resort displayed their offensive power in the whole game. NRF playing without their 3 main scorers managed to trim the lead into single digits in the dying seconds of the game. Romano scored 45 points for Movenpick Resort and was adjudged as the Titan Watch best player of the game while Idio connected 34 points for the NRF.
