Habagat joined teams with at least two Team of the Week accolades after it outpointed rivals for its second award during the 18th session in the Thursday League 11th Season for Sarawat Superstores Cup at the Bowling City in Sultana Center.

Habagat finished on 33 points with consistent Sarawat Superstores, which is set to be the No. 1 when the positioning round takes place today, in second place on 30 points.

Bowling City, which is also assured to be one of three outright finalists at No. 2, compiled 24 points in the third position on the day followed by Bulacan Knight 22, Pindot 19 and Orient Watch 17.5 points.

D’ Engineers, D’ Barkads and Fineboyz Rhinos filled the last three spots on 16.5, 13 and 5 in that order.

Ruel Santoc made it a Habagat double when he put away the Bowler of the Week plum after he shot the high series of 675 on lines of 214, 257 and 159.

Jun de Dios bowled big too for Habagat, shooting 650 (178, 225, 190) with Richard Antonio on 582 as the other player to complete three games. Team captain Manny Tibay added 214-161, Geo Mangaliman had 223-214 and Edriss Mangoda 197.

Rampant Sarawat drew big numbers from Mohd. Amri 638, Gerry Mandanas 611 and Bandar Al Dosari 592 to go with the 200-199 by captain Igna Salgado, 170-221 by Paolo Allego and 202-181 by Alex Flora.

Bowling City had four players going the distance in Francis Guron 611, Ruben Grino 606, Frank Afurong 602 and Pancho Cuevas 563. Cris Villavelez contributed 215-187 and Archie Santos 187.

For Bulacan Knight, the duo of Jeff San Pedro and Ding dela Rosa showed the way on 630 and 606 followed by Ric Tibayan 570 and Efren San Pedro 524. Cesar Pagtalunan made 179-175 and Atoi Cruz 226.
