JEDDAH: Hidada Ltd., with a reputation as perennial contender but which is now distant memory, claimed Team of the Week honors and the lead to boot during the fourth session in the 35th FTBJ-ICBL Sky Freight Forwarders League at the Bowling City here.

Steadily picking up pace after a modest start, Hidada came through with the top tally of 41 points.

Four points back at second place was the surprising bottom team Rock N Roll with Par Excellence and Sky Freight-OSN separated by a mere .5 point at 36.5 and 36 points in third and fourth spots respectively.

Sadafco-Saudia Milk, the previous week honoree, finished on 31.5 in fifth place on the day followed by ICBl Mix Insert 24, D’ Barkads 23 and Hal Falcon 21.

Steelers pooled 18.5 points while the last three teams to check in were Ceebee Aviation 16.5, Sagmit Dental Clinic16 and Al Murjana 11 points.

The week’s honors had been spread out with Igna Salgado of Sadafco and D’ Barkads’ Thess Grandia the men’s and ladies Bowler of the Week awardees respectively. Salgado rolled high series of 693 on lines of 256, 213 and 212 setting the highest score thus far for BOW winners. Grandia shot 589.

In fifth place to start the session Hidada placed fourth in the second game before topping both the third game and overall output. An added bonus is that Hidada took over first place from Sadafo.

Cesar Monares and Dylan Ilagan were in the thick of things at Hidada with rounds of 627 and 601. From the distaff side Pinky Acato had 573 and Grace Siasoco 539. Ed Cordova added 186-234 and Nanding Siasoco made 192.

Mar Lagan mirrored the suprisingly strong display by Rock N Roll by shooting the third-best score of 660 right next to the 670 posted by Oca Bernabe of Sky Freight. Daryl Laquias contributed 571 to go with the 200-158 by Jayson Castillo, 211 by Rom Cagampang, 584 by Malou Gime and 529 by Lenlen Berina.

Par Excellence got a boost from Yasser Hokbi on 613 with Elsie Fernandez on 520 and Nurissa Ramos on 537. Sharing two games each were Archie Santos 233-184, Emil Payongayong 204-233 and Rudy Valenzuela 188-203.

Goying Salazar backed up Bernabe at Sky Freight with 606, while Yolly Santos and Imelda Sayago the other players to complete full games on 531 and 521. The other scorers were Rod Morales 180-163 and Bonnie Garcia 262.

The other scorers at Sadafco besides Salgado were Majid Aslani 618, Marissa Resano 568, Malou Nidoy 526, Joel Nidoy 164-177 and Procy Luage 172.
