Hidada Ltd. won it second Team of the Week award while veteran bowler Rene Santiago and May Lourdes emerged as the individual awardees during the 12th session in the FTBJ-ICBL Novarino Inter-Company Bowling League 32nd Conference at Jeddah Lanes here.

On a day where scoring seemed tough Hidada gathered 32 points, the second lowest thus far in the five-man team Friday afternoon league event.

Lance & 3rdy was three points back on 29 followed by Sky Freight-TFC 27, Cristal Global 25 and league leader Sarawat Superstores 24.

JM Derby tallied 20 points in sixth place with Falcon on 19, Jem Strikers 17, Jeddah Lanes15 and D’ Barkads 12.

Santiago of Sky Freight rolled the day’s high series of 649 to become the men’s Bowler of the Week on lines of 179, 215 and 255, while JM Derby’s Lourdes was the ladies Bowler of the Week after shooting her division’s leading score of 591 on games of 179, 166 and 186.

The fifth week honoree, Hidada beat out fast starter and first game winner Lance for honors with a strong last two games and top overall output for 10 points at 2,840.

Amro Al-Amri carded 616 to lead Hidada with Pinky Acato on 534 and Grace Siasoco on 487. Contributing two games each were Rene Martinez 174-198, Romy Bunagan 214-193 and Nanding Siasoco 156-178.

The trio of Ding Dela Rosa, Ric Reformado and Med Ramos tossed in 597, 593 and 560 for Lance that had Aisah Silabay on 528 and Evelyn Santoc and Shrley Sagmit on 159 and 111-125 respectively on the distaff side.

Besides Santiago team manager Emy De Guzman and Goying Salazar rolled three-game series of 528 and 522 to go with the 554 by Babes Tiongson and 537 by Imelda Sayago.

After a breakout performance the previous week, Sarawat was back to normal service with Majid Aslani and Paul Antiporda at the helm on 606 and 551. Igna Salgado added 181-192, Paolo allego had 202 while Marie Gumpal made 493 and Jeanette Cerbito 478.

Cristal did little to gain some ground on Sarawat. Its main scorers were Zaldy Bacero 574, Bonie Garcia 561 and Merlen Pamintuan 550.
