RIYADH: NRF of Playing coach Gerry Acosta defeated Magma Bloods 100-89 in the PEAK –JBL tournament at ALBAIK court in Khalidia District here. Magma Bloods playing with only 6 players tried hard in the whole game but lost main man Lance Adrian in the third quarter to foul trouble. NRF’s inside game in the final quarter gave the team its two wins in four outings. Kalis top-scored with 25 points for NRF and was adjudged as the PEAK Sodas Sports best player of the game while Ahmad Alonto chipped in 21 points for Magma Bloods.

Manila Zago of Loue Ghazi beat BUPA 116-73. Manila Zago dominated the game with their precision outside snipping but BUPA showed toughness in the third quarter but then lost steam in the final 10 minutes of the game. Cabalu scored 39 big points for Manila Zago and was adjudged as the JBL best player of the game while Ruben Del Rosario and Mc Belmi had 24 and 19 points for BUPA.

IKEA of Ahmad Penaranda defeated STC 84-83. IKEA controlled the game up to third quarter with as much as 20 points. STC slowly got its offense working in the final quarter. Bakhs played good offense in the whole game plus a tough defense in the final period halted the offensive plays of Leylati. Camina led Tropang Bakhs with 24 points and was adjudged as the PEAK Sodas Sports best player of the game while Hugo top score with 31 points for Leylati.

Khalidia Tambayz beat Knights 86-85. Khalidia Tambayz showed heart in the dying seconds as Knights with 6 seconds remaining almost won the game but committed a crucial error as the final buzzer had sounded. Garcia collected 26 points for Khalidia Tambayz and was adjudged as the JBL best player of the game while David top score with 29 points for Knights.

RJW Jufalli Wed Group defeated UDG 116-70. RJW played their offense well in the whole game. RJW fast break was unstoppable. Jameel Khobre had 35 points for RJW Jufalli Wed Group and was adjudged as the PEAK Sodas Sports best player of the game.

Manila Hotdog of Loue beat Khalidia Knights 93-67. The Hotdogs displayed their outside shots in the second half of the game as UDG applied tough defense. The plan paid well as UDG open their defense to halt the Manila Hotdogs snipping. Manila Hotdogs shifted to inside game with Loue tending the backcourt plays. Jason and RD scored 20 points apiece for Manila Hotdogs and were adjudged as the JBL best players of the game while Alvarado and Batalon top-scored with 19 points apiece for Khalidia Knights.
