RIYADH: Jamshed’s brilliant unbeaten 106 runs helped Royal Academy of Cricket Combined Schools XI to get the better of Pakistan International School Riyadh, English Section (PISR-ES) by six wickets in the under-16 section of Inter-School cricket tournament organized by the Riyadh Cricket League, at the RCL complex here.

PISR-ES won the toss and put up a fighting total of 171 after their stipulated 20 overs. After the fall of two early wickets, Zain (30), Hamza (55 not out) and later Asadullah (27) propped up the innings and gave their team a fighting chance. Faizan and Zawair bagged 2 wickets each.

RAC got to their winning target after 19.1 overs. Jamshed was in top form and played fluent drives to all round the ground. Nawaz got 17 runs. Hamza and Zain of PISR-ES took 2 wickets each.
