RIYADH: Jawahir Ar Riyadh International School Green scored a comfortable 54-run win over Al Momin International School in the under-14 section of the Inter-School cricket tournament, sponsored by Saudi Cricket Center and organized by the Riyadh Cricket Association, which took off here last week.

Over 15 schools took part in this tourney, divided into different categories.

Jawahir, which won the toss and decided to bat put up a decent total of 147 for 3 from their stipulated 15 overs. Huzzam top-scored with 38 runs followed by Bilal (20) and Sohaib (17).

In reply Al-Momin managed 93 for 5. Abdul Basit (29), Irtaza (16) and Osama (10) were the main scorers.

Fahad and Abdul Moiz bagged 2 wickets each for the bowling side.
