RIYADH: JBL Teens beat SPIS of Riyadh 68-60 for the championship in the Midget Division in the 1st BM Haj Regional Basketball at Al Yamama court here.
JBL Teens played their hearts out as SPIS tried hard to contain the enemy offense in the whole game. The members of the champion Midget Division team are: Gabriel Carbo, Ben Consolacion, Marky Dianalan, Drazen Mabanta, Justin Durante, Aldrin Francisco, Luis Hernandez, Michael Maddatu (MVP), Wasim Shekanie, Hamza Suyat, Nicholai Umlas, Frederick Angadol, Archdale Palaypayon and Charles Narciso. Bong Umlas and Angel Palaypayon are the coaches.
JBL Teens B won against the Mighty BM All Star 90-98 in the Junior Division championship. JBL Teens B played running game to defuse the towering defense of BM All Star from start to finish. Mohammad Acub (MVP), Justine Matthew Agustin, Wayne Allen Ching, Bobby Mamaluba, Vince Jacob Petilla, Dos Yatco, Abdul Abdulaziz, Hassan Al Sulaimani, Benneth De Borja, Russel Carbo and Gino Oliva with coaches Vinz Petilla and Carlo Carbo make up the winning team.
Also, JBL Teens A took second place after a heart breaking lossagainst BM All Star on opening day. The players are King Acosta, Carl Carbo, Timothy Cartano, Prince Del Rosario, Densen Dolloso, Charles Granadino, Polan Palaypayon, Herian Sena, Jehad Usman, Rayman Mamak, and Rayan Manalundong. With the team were coaches Rey Maddatu and Gerry Acosta

Aqino scored 37 points for Wasalak 40’s and was adjudged as the SEIKO Watch best player of the game while Batalon had 19 points for Khalidia 40’s.

Friday, JDC B defeated JDC A 97-96 in the Inter-Dawah Division. David scored 24 points for JDC B and was adjudged as the JBL best player of the game while Cobre had 42 points for JDC A.
BHBC beat Jacobs UDG 94-81. Gadiana scored 33 points for BHBC to become the SEIKO Watch Best Player of the game while Casingal chipped in 31 points for Jacobs UDG.
Pazadaure defeated Thunder 100-74. Tubid top-scored with 22 points and was adjudged as the New Cabalen Restaurant Best Player of the game while Mickey led Thunders with 25 points.
Wasalak beat Jeddah Clippers 128-85. Pura top-scored with 15 points for Wasalak and was adjudged as the SEIKO Watch best player of the game while Mateo had 27 points for Jeddah Clippers.
