Saudi Arabia booked their ticket to the 2015 Asian Cup in Australia with a comfortable 2-1 win over Iraq in their qualifying Group C game here on Friday.

The Saudis took the lead through Tayseer Al-Jassim in the 18th minute before Younis Mahmoud equalized for the Iraqis seconds before the end of the first half.

Salman Al-Faraj then struck in the 60th minute to help Saudi Arabia seal victory. The UAE, Bahrain also booked their tickets to Australia. Goals by Salem Saleh, Walid Abbas, Omar Abdulrahman and Ismail Hamadi saw the UAE ease past Hong Kong 4-0 in their Group E clash in Abu Dhabi.

The UAE, who led 2-0 at half-time, maintained their 100 percent win record to qualify for their fourth consecutive Asian Cup.
