The OFBC Monthly Tournament leading up to the Bowler of the Year Championship 2014 in December entered its fourth and final quarter during the event’s competition for October held recently at the Ice Land Bowling Center here.

And the Bowlers of the Month for October were Bash Langa and Kristhea Mae Busico, who was also the champion for the month of May.

The victories came easy for both Langa and Busico. Langa, a Class C bowler with 18 handicap per game, whipped his higher handicapped opponents to win the men’s title on two-game series with handicap of 401 in the final on scratch games of 202-163.

Rudy Ramos, ended up a distant first runner-up on 368 despite enjoying a rich handicap as a Class D bowler, the same case with second runner-up Nards Hassan on 363 and third runner-up Rico Parcon on 359.

Busico, topnotcher in the qualifying, completed her wire-to-wire victory with a winning total of 400 in the two games final in the ladies division where Minda Guevarra wound up 1st runner-up on 370. Carmen Duma took the 2nd runner-up position on 358 while Yeth Siohan Achai was 3rd runner-up on 347.

The winners and runners-up each received cash prize and gift pack courtesy of generous sponsors Zikato Construction through Operations Manager Cesar Alberto Zuniga and Star Markets through Ishtiaq Elahi, branch manager Star Superstores Corniche branch.
