JEDDAH: Midget Black of coach Donald Doloso beat Yellow of coach Raffy David 35-19 in the 7-12 age group bracket in the 3rd season FAME Gensoul Basketball tournament here.

It was an exciting match as the parents were in full support cheering their sons while running up and down the basketball court. Edison Arellano top-scored with 7 points for Black and was adjudged as the Gensoul best player of the game while Justin Durante scored 12 points for Yellow.

Fame Gensoul is under the leadership of coach Sam Sabangan, Edwin Gonzales (Tournament Commissioner), Joel Silvestre with photo being handled by by George Feliciano and Jayson Ricamara.

Junior Orange of coach Glenn Musngi defeated Junior Black 45-39. Russel Jon Carlo Carbo scored 13 points for Orange and was adjudged as the player of the game while Job Emmanuel Acedera led Black with 10 points.

Junior Red of coach Sabangan beat Junior Grey 77-72. Erian Jake Sena contributed 35 points for Red and was named player of the game while Mohammad Acub had 33 points for Grey.

Seniors Yellow of Coach Joel Silvestre downed Seniors Green 87-85 in a close match. Arwin Virtucio top-scored with 28 points for Yellow and was adjudged as player of the game while Donald Dolloso had 23 points for Green.

In games Friday, Midget Grey of coach Ali Gaspar defeated Midget Orange 65-48. Alexander Adam Romualdo had 23 points for Grey and was adjudged as the Gensoul player of the game while Michael Maddatu had 29 points for Orange.

Juniors Violet of Coach Henry Alipante beat Juniors Yellow 59-58. Benjamin Joseph Virtucio scored 32 points for Violet and was adjudged player of the game while Gerry Acosta top-scored with 33 points for Yellow.

Juniors Orange defeated Juniors Blue 64-62. Coach Glenn advised his players to look for their open man offense as Blue went to their zone defense. Russel Jon Carlo Carbo led Orange with 22 points to become the player of the game while Romualdo Yatco II scored 19 points for Blue.

In other games, Midget Blue of Coach Ernel Paner beat Midget Violet 31-20 and Seniors White of Alex Roca defeated Seniors Red 99-77.
