RIYADH: International Indian School Riyadh breezed past Pakistan International School Riyadh (English Section) by 187 runs in the opening match in the under-16 section of the Inter-School Twenty20 Cricket Tournament organized by the Riyadh Cricket League.

The highlight of the day was IISR Mukul who scored an unbeaten 145 runs.

The Indian school batted after winning the toss and put up 278 runs. Besides Mukul, Afikein 39 and Razil 33 were the other scorers.

Arham, Shahid and Zain took 1 wicket each.

In reply PISR were bowled out for 91 runs. Umair and Muhid were the only batsmen who reached double figures. Safwan took 3 wickets. Saud and Mukul took 2 each.

Man-of-the-Match: Mukul.

Five teams are taking part in the under-16 category. Pakistan International School Riyadh Nasriya, Pakistan International School Riyadh (English Section), International Indian School Riyadh, Yasmeen International School Riyadh and Royal Academy of Cricket (Mixed schools XI).

Three teams are taking part in under-19 category. Pakistan International School Riyadh Nasriya, Pakistan International School Riyadh (English Section) and Royal Academy of Cricket (Mixed schools XI).
