RIYADH: King Khaled Specialist Hospital Blues’ Nadeem Babar’s 121 against Sama Steel was the highlight of the day during round six of the Al-Kharaj cricket League, sponsored by Saudi Orix and organized by the Riyadh Cricket Association here.

In the 40-over tournament, KFSH Blues won against the Steelmen by 177 runs.

KFSH posted 331 for 8. Nadeem Babar rocked the day with his 201st century. Khurram (82), Ayaz Mohammad (49) and Irshad (42) were the other contributors. Awais 3 and Raja 2 were the main wicket takers. In reply, Sama Steel were bundled for 154. Awais and Raja scored 36 runs each. Irshad bagged 4, Raja Gulraiz 3 and Saqib 2 wickets respectively.

In another match, Lahore Lions lost to CKK by 4 wickets. Lahore Lions put on board 176. Kifayet bowled well and picket up 5 wickets while Nadeem got 3. CKK achieved the target after 31.3 overs. Najeeb 46 and Kashif 35 were the key contributors.

Pak Shaheen routed Saudi Jaguars by 226 runs. Pak Shaheen posted 436 runs. Thanks to centuries by both the openers. Faisal Khan (134) and Ishaq Ahmed (131). Ibrar-ul- Haq scored 76. Jaguars scored 210. Ateeq took 3 wickets while Ibrar, Javed and Abdul Salam managed 2 wickets each.
