Natco, ICC, Deccan Knights and Jawar Al Jazirah recorded impressive wins over their respective opponents during the 2nd week matches of Ace Travel Premier league sponsored by Ace Travel & Tours and organized by JCA.

Natco and ICC managed narrow wins by 11 and 12 runs respectively, Deccan Knights and Jawar Al Jazirah thrashed their opponents by 86 runs and 10 wickets respectively.

Natco batted first and scored 185 runs for 7 wickets. Openers Chand and Rauf and one down Humayun were dismissed cheaply to leave Natco tottering at 30 for 3. Sajid 30 and along with Hasnain’s unbeaten 51 steadied the innings to give their team a respectable total as Mujahed of JPCC claimed 2 wickets for 24 while Junaid, Saleem, Ehsan, Jawad and Ghouse had one wicket each.

JPCC was provided a good start as Saleem scored a quick fire 48 while Shareef (24), Khalid (20), Ismail (26) and Jawad (24) gave good support but was not sufficient as JPCC could only manage 174 for 8 . Abbas (3 for 25), Humayun (2 for 28) and Ashique 2 for 38 shared the spoils to give their team a 11-run win.

Deccan Knights put up 248 runs for the loss of 4 wickets only Inayath led from the front with a solid unbeaten knock of 100. He was severe on all the Zinda Tilismat bowlers and was well supported by Najeeb (27), Athar (53) and Imran (42). Abdullah chipped in with 2 for 17 while Irfan and Noor picked up a wicket each.

In reply Zinda Tilismat scored 162 for 6 with main contributors Noor (44), Saeed (38), Urooj (29). Javed and veteran left arm spinner Karam Ali Khan took 2 wickets each while Sohail, Shoaib, Ahmad and Athar had a wicket each.

Deccan Knights won by 86 runs.

Elsewhere, ICC scored 158 for 6. Raheel (32), Atta Rahman (39) and Waqas (21). Rameez and Ziad Khan had 2 for 49 and 2 for 20 respectively. In reply Kanoo Travel fought back but ended up 12 runs short at 146 with Ishaq (41), Pervez (26) and Khan (27) being the main scorers. Atta, Irfan, Azhar and Sadiq took a wicket each.

ACE Travel batting first managed only 144, which Jawar Al Jazirah scored without losing a wicket. For Ace, Aleem was the highest scorer with 44 while none of the remaining batsmen could tackle the deadly bowling of Ramzan who claimed 4 for 20.

Adil and Asim chipped in with 2 wickets each. Jawar Al Jazirah reached their target comfortably without losing a wicket with Shaan Manzoor (58) and Asim (77).
