JEDDAH: IOE will take on Nazar Guys in the final of the Jeddah Premier League for the Asaduddin Owaisi Cup, sponsored by Dream India Group, Mumtaz Sports Academy, Al Wafaq Al Shaheqa Group and Qatar Airways and organized by the Jeddah Cricket Association.

In the semifinals, IOE got the better of Hyderabad Royals by three wickets while Nazar Guys routed Jeddah Gladiators by 115 runs.

The final match will be played on Friday, April 1, at the Sulaimania ground No. 2. The first innings will start at 7.30 a.m. followed by the second innings at 2.30 p.m.

In the first semifinal, Hyderabad Royals made first use of the track after they won the toss and put up 101 for 7 in the stipulated 15-over match.

In reply IOE cricketers successfully chased and reached 106 for 7 after 14.3 overs.

Man-of-the-Match: Saleem Priya (30 runs)

The other semi was a one-sided encounter as Nazar put up a respectable 161 for 5 after they won the toss and decided to bat.

In reply Jeddah Gladiators failed to make a fight of it and crumbed for a paltry 46 runs after 9.4 overs.
