JEDDAH: In line with the strategic aspiration to be the “Employer of Choice”, and an encouragement to employees to engage in sports activities as well as promote camaraderie among colleagues, National Commercial Bank (NCB) commenced the 2nd edition of the Tape-Ball Cricket Tournament for Jeddah employees.

The grand opening ceremony of the 2016 NCB Cricket Championship took place last Friday at the floodlit Baghdadiyah Gharbiyah near NCB Main IT Center building.

The chief guest of the occasion was Saleh Saleh, CIO, National Commercial Bank, who came along with senior management representative from different departments.

There are six teams playing in the tournament representing NCB, ITC Infotech, Tata Consultancy Services and Microland. The tournament format is of 9 league matches to played with 8 overs in each innings. The top four teams qualify for the semifinals and the top two proceed for the grand finale. The tournament has a huge support of the cricket enthusiasts working at NCB.

The grand finale will be played on Saturday at 8:30 pm. The presentation ceremony will be held immediately after the final match and will be attended by the senior management of NCB, ITC Infotech, Tata Consultancy Services and Microland.
