NCB and Al Yanabie continued their campaign as they posted convincing victories against their opponents in the OFBL 4th Conference Inter-Company Bonafide Division and Inter-Company Non-rated at Timeout Sports Academy Gymnasium on Television St. , Ghulail District on the outskirts of Jeddah at the weekend.

A strong second half display by Gadiana, who scored 20 points, and Encabo with 13 points, helped NCB get past Triple M 84-78 to even its record at 2-2.

The match was just about even in the first half, as both teams went toe-to-toe. The period ended with NCB down by 3 points 47-44.

But NCB made its run in the third quarter taking the lead and ending the period ahead by six points. NCB then increased the lead further in the 4th quarter as Triple M collapsed like a deck of cards.

Triple M absorbed its fourth defeat in the OFBL evening tournament.

Macalla contributed 17 points, Lico tossed in 16 points and Bertolano added with 12 for the losing team.

In the Inter-Company Non-rated Division, Grain Silos and Flour Mills used a strong fourth quarter to seize victory against Jeddah Falcons 104-98.

Grain Silos launched a 10-0 run to get a taste of the lead and, sustaining the momentum and employing tough defense, proceeded to build a 77-63 lead with two minutes left in the third quarter.

Even though the Falcons came to within five points in the closing minutes Grain Silos kept its composure and dominated off both boards courtesy of big man Biato.

Bautista proved unstoppable attacking the Falcons defense relentlessly to finish with a team-high 22 points.

Macaspac backed up Bautista with 18 points. De Guzman added 17 points and Collete 16. Biato also had 16 points plus 10 big offensive rebounds.

Yanabie scored its first win in three games, beating United Doctors Hospital 69-62.

UDH tried to keep pace with the shooting prowess of Yanabie in the first quarter, closing the period with just 2 points behind UDH 28-26.

But Yanabie ran away in the third quarter to leave UDH behind with double-digit advantage and never looked back.

Garcia led Yanabie with 14 points, Monding made 13 and Viscayno added 9 for the winning team.

Elsewhere in the evening tournament, Almarai (Original Brothers Batang Jeddah) notched their first win against Schindler 66-59 in the Bracket B Non-rated Division.

Leading the way at Almarai were the trio of Regondola, Mabilangan and Chavas with 20 and 11 and 10 points respectively.

Hariri and Reyes scored 21 and 14 points in a losing cause for Schindler.

Meanwhile, the Friday Morning Division Games teams trying to boost their records saw KAAU at 2-2 in Bracket B, Patttaya Restaurant at 2-1 in Bracket A and Toyota at 3-1 in Bracket C.
