Opening day winner Nesma in Non-Rated Bracket B continued to play consistent basketball as it jumped to a 2-0 start with another victory in the OFBL 5th Conference Friday Morning League at Timeout Sports Academy Gymnasium, on Television St. , Ghulail District on the outskirts of Jeddah.

Nesma played a superior first half, after trailing at halftime by 3 points, and went on to win by 80-78 over Puzakals.

Abulencia had an outstanding performance for Nesma, netting a team-high 34 points as he almost single-handedly carried his team to become the Red Tag Best Player of the game.

Calueng combined well with Domancas and along with Abulencia helped Nesma’s production. Balinan and Morales led the way for Puzakals with a combined 40 points.

In evening division, Awdah set the pace early, posting 23-15 advantage in the first period, and further outscored Jameel Renewed in the successive periods to comfortably win by 19 points 97- 78.

Sanches backed up his great opening game with another skillful performance to top-score for Awdah with 28 points, and won the Best Player award for the second time.

Seguis also had an exceptional game with 17 points, using his pace well and shooting well. Ballenas chipped in 16 points, rebounded well and defended effectively for Awdah.

The losing team was headed by Teddy Jamahali who shared scoring honors with Guisguisan at 14 points apiece.

Meanwhile, in the other bracket Non-Rated division in evening game, Sadafco routed NCB Quick Pay 86-73.

It was a close match for the first 3 quarters, but Sadafco played as a team in the payoff period. All players were involved in the offense and played tough defense to increase their lead at a secured level till the end of the game.

Cutamora spearheaded the Sadafco offense with 18 points. He got valuable support from Dangao with 16 points and Defensor who had 15 points.

For NCB Encabo was at the forefront with 16 points, followed by Yousuf 13 points and Taruc 9 points.

In the Inter- Company C Division, United Doctors Hospital (UDH) lead in each of the four quarters to score a 67-58 victory over STC.

Nauyan scored 16 points in charge of UDC. Obis had 8 points and Qudia 8 for UDC. STC got 19 points from Lee, 12 points from Sorreta and 12 from Minglama.
