Rolling Hills Golf Club hosts Dirab Golf & Country Club Friday for the return leg of the Oasis Cup, a Ryder Cup style event on home and away basis between the Kingdom’s two leading golf clubs.

Early this year, Dirab Golf & Country Club captained by Fahad Almansour won the cup on its home course by 18.5 to 14.5 points.

The two days events will have four balls on the first day followed by the singles matches on the second and final day.

The Oasis Cup started way back in 2007, a collaborative effort between Jeff Meinser and Minhaj Khan from Rolling Hills and Bouchaib El Jadiani from Dirab.

El Jadiani said similar exchanges with other international golf clubs in the region such as in Turkey, Morocco, UAE and Bahrain are being planned by DGCC with a view to promoting golf in Saudi Arabia.
