JEDDAH: Oman Chips DSK got the better of Al-Jazira Ford Royals by five wickets to win the 8th edition of the TCF Jotun Champions Trophy tape ball cricket tournament,sponsored by Al Hokair Group & FSN, at the BMT ground, recently.

Al-Jazira Ford Royals batted first after they won the toss and put up 132 for 3 off the stipulated 12 overs. Mohammed Shams top-scored with 75 runs followed by Bilal supported him with 32.

In reply, Oman Chips DSK reached their target off 133 with an over to spare. Abu Huraira (26) and Adnan (37) steered their team to victory.

Earlier in the first semifinals Al Jazira Ford Royals beat last year’s runner-up EFS-KKR by 74 runs. In the other semifinal Oman Chips DSK scored a thrilling four-run win over Target Guys.
