YANBU: Pak Green, Pak Crescent ‘A’ and RCYCI won their respective matches in the Jotun Cup Twenty20 cricket tournament, organized by Yanbu Al Sinaiyah Cricket Association here at Yanbua.

In the first match Pak Green defeated Patel XI by 8 wickets. Patel XI used the track first posted 115 for 9 in the allotted overs. Awais Shaikh stroked 46, Hamid Patel 20 and Ali 15. Abdulqadar claimed 3 for 22 while Intezar got 2. Pak Green achieved the target for the loss of 2 wickets. R K scored 41 and Abdulqadar 24. Mohatashum and Hamid Patel claimed a wicket each.

In the other encounter Pak Crescent ‘A’ routed Yanbu Youth by 76 runs. Pak Crescent batted first piled up 203 for 7. Mohammed Zahid (46), Sarfaraz (59) and Abrar (38) were the main scorers. Shoaib and Imran Khan got 2 wickets each.

Yanbu Youth in reply were bowled out for 126 runs. Imran Khan top-scored with 62 and Waleed made 31. Sarfaraz bowled magnificently to grab 5 for 11. Raja Fahad got 2 wickets.

In the last match of the day, RCYCI scored a thrilling four-run win over Pak XI.

RCYCI batted first produced 146 for 4 in the allotted 20 overs. Mohtashim top-scored with 60 runs. Ahmed Nadwi (24) and Qalander Khan (24) were the other run getters. Abdulrazzaque took 3 for 15.

Pak XI gave a spirited reply but fell short by four runs. Hasnain blasted 51 followed by Abdulrazzaque 32, Mohammed Khan 16 and Ahmed 15. Kishwar claimed 4 for 20.
