JEDDAH: Old Students-XI scored a hard-earned four-wicket win over ICAD, while Peeran Warriors gained a six-wicket win against Jeddah Shaheen in the semifinals of the MoneyGram Twenty20 cricket tournament organized by the Jeddah Cricket Association

ICAD made first use of the track and were all out for 145 runs. Opening batsman Hassan Reza top-scored with 55 runs. Others who contributed were Shakeel 18 and Nazeer 19. Sajid got 3 for 19 runs and Saudi national Abdul Rahman took 2 for 35.

In reply the Old students-XI scored 146 for 6. Skipper Asif scored 42 runs. Amanullah remained unbeaten on 52. Mohsin Reza bagged 2 for 33.

In the second semifinal match Jeddah Shaheen were all out for 133 runs. Hussain remained unbeaten on 48. Fahim 22 and Mirza Nazim 14 were the other scorers. Imtiaz 3 for 28, Faisal 2 for 21 and Zulfiqar had 2 for 19 were the wicket takers. In reply the Peeran Warriors scored 136 for 4 wickets. Afzal 39, Qasid 19 and Ateeq remained unbeaten on 42. Karam took 2 for 26.
