Petro Rabigh of Omar Agpalo beat Fame 96-81 in the JBL Lifestylez basketball tournament at the Mandoubia court in Khalidia District here. Petro Rabigh displayed steady sniping in the whole game as Fame committed crucial turnovers in the final quarter. Santos scored career high 23 points for Petro Rabigh and was adjudged as the Lifestylez Best Player of the game while Lim top-scored with 20 points for Fame.

GIG of Jon Azupardo defeated FCCI 100-92. GIG played their defense well in the final quarter as FCCI gunners started to miss their important jumpers. Man-to-man defense also forced FCCI ball handlers to commit passing errors in the crucial minutes of the game. Sipat chipped in 34 points for GIG and was adjudged as the Mandoubia Best Player of the game while Ricky Reloj had 52 points for FCCI.

Al Bawadi 1 of Rick Santos beat Al Salamah 2 87-78 in Unity Games. Al Salamah 2 playing with only 7 players gave Al Bawadi 1 a good fight up to the last seconds of the game. Al Bawadi 1 wisely went to the open man and executed its fast break play well in the dying seconds. Ancheta scored 23 points for Al Bawadi 1 and was adjudged as the Al Haddaf best player of the game while Bajas top-scored with 42 points for Al Salamah 2.

Also in Unity Games, Al Salamah 3 beat Al Ruwais 85-78. Al Salamah 3 dominated the shaded area in the whole game. Al Ruwais played running game to break the Al Salamah 3 defense up to the last quarter but lost steam in the dying seconds. Bernabe top-scored with 30 points for Al Salamah 3 and was adjudged as the Arab News Best Player of the game while Alikna contributed 31 points for Al Ruwais.

Meanwhile, JBL 4th MYN Basketball Tournament resumed its elimination round at Al Naghi Sports Club on Al Malik Road beside Red Sea Mall thru the assistance of Reggie Maga. Games are played Thursdays starting at 8 p.m.
