Petro Rabigh of Omar Agpalo defeated GIG Jeddah 105-96 to claim the championship trophy from JBL at the Al Baik – Mandoubia basketball court in Khalidia District here in Jeddah.

Petro Rabigh was trailing up to the crucial 3 minutes of the game as GIG Jeddah gallantry played their defense well but went into foul trouble in the final quarter.

Jomar Padilla top-scored with 25 points for Petro Rabigh and was adjudged as the Lifestylez Best Player of the game while Vince scored 29 points for GIG Jeddah.

Meanwhile, Fuddruckers of Elmer Delos Santos beat Chili’s 86-79 to qualify for the semifinal round against the powerhouse Al Naghi of Regie Maga at the Ahmed Mohammed Abdul Wahab Naghi Sports Complex in Ash Shati District.

Fuddruckers displayed awesome basketball skills in the whole game as they went to open man for the higher percentage basket. Chili’s tried to bounce back in the final quarter but the Fuddruckers defense held in the crucial seconds of the game. Sabang chipped in 28 points for Fuddruckers and was adjudged as the Al Haddaf Sportswear Best Player of the game while Escueta led Chili’s with 19 points.

BMW of Eric Natividad defeated Land Rover-Jaguar 75-59 to seal its semifinal seat versus Hyundai Castrol. BMW played its offense well in the second half of the game as Land Rover-Jaguar dictate dthe tempo of the game up to second quarter. Kempis had 19 points for BMW and was adjudged as the Arab News Best Player of the game while Paul top-scoring with 28 points for Land Rover-Jaguar.
