RIYADH: Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, Chairman Kingdom Holding Company, received the players and members of Marid Sports Club from Al-Asyah located in Al Qassim Province, chaired by Abdulrahman Alotaibi, at the KHC headquarters.

Prince Alwaleed met Alotaibi who was accompanied by the team’s delegation. The two discussed the latest updates of the club and its achievements. The prince stressed the need to support sports and the athletes as well as the development of clubs in Saudi Arabia and to encourage the young generation to hone its athletic skills and invest their time in useful activities.

As a form of encouragement, Prince Alwaleed awarded the club members and players a total sum of SR200,000 for the club’s budget, which included a bus for the use of the club. This honor comes as the team achieved accomplishments in football, gymnastics, and tennis.

Alotaibi thanked Prince Alwaleed for his support and his constant encouragement to clubs and sport federations in Saudi Arabia. Furthermore, the team presented a trophy to Prince Alwaleed in recognition of his continued support to sportsmen and athletes.
