RIYADH: Ibn-e-Khaldun International and Kingdom International School are the two well-known Arabic schools that will take part in the Inter-School Cricket Tournament to be organized by the Riyadh Cricket Association.

Thirty-three teams have confirmed their entries, this was discussed with the principals of a number of schools at a meeting recently in Riyadh.

The principals or representatives from the following schools were present: Yousuf Noor Anwar (Al-Momin International School), Meiraj Mohammad Khan (Delhi Public School), Dr. Ali Arif (Ibn-e-Khaldun International School), Dr. Shaukat Pervez (Indian International School), Ibrahim (Jawahir Al-Riyadh International School), Patterson (Middle East International School), Mohammad Hanif (Modern International School), Sami Afridi (Pakistan International School, English Section), Mian Iqbal (Pakistan International School (Nasiriyah), Gopi Manon (Yasmin International School), and Dr. Awais (Manarat Ar Riyadh School).

RCA patron and spokesman Mohammad Anwar Mohammad thanked Prince Dr. Abdul Aziz bin Nasser for allowing his land to be used to prepare grounds for the sport. He stressed that Interschool tournament is an important step toward development of cricket at the grass root levels.
