RIYADH: Royal Academy of Cricket, Combined Schools XI, scored a thrilling two-wicket win over Pakistan International School Riyadh, Nasriya, in the Inter-School under-19 Twenty20 cricket tournament organized by the Riyadh Cricket League at the RCL Complex here.

PISR elected to bat first and made 154. Faisal top-scored with 70 runs. Omer (47) and Abdulrehman (20) supported him while others fell one after the other. At one stage when Faisal and Omer were playing, it looked that the Pakistan school was heading for a huge total.

However it was not to be as once they departed the rest of the batsmen followed. Sufiyan and Obaid claimed 2 wickets each.

In reply RAC achieved the target off 19.3 overs. RAC needed 12 runs off 12 balls. Hisham played well and made 47 runs. He was supported by Hilal (32) and Etrut (22). Faisal and Abdul Rehman bowled well and claimed 3 wickets each whereas Omer took 2.
