RIYADH: The Inter-Schools Cricket Tournament sponsored by Saudi Cricket Center and organized by Riyadh Cricket League takes off today at the RCL Complex, here.

This was announced in a meeting held by RCL members Asif Shaikh, Riaz Ahmed, Tariq Butt and the school authorities.

All present during the meeting stressed proper cricketing gear for the students to avoid any accident during the tourney.

The schools are divided into the under-16 and under-19 categories.

International Indian School Riyadh (2 teams); Pakistan International School Riyadh, Nasariya; Pakistan International School Riyadh, Sulaymania; Delhi Public School; International Indian Public School, Riyadh and Yasmeen International School have confirmed their entries in the under-16 section.

In the under-19 category, International Indian School Riyadh; Pakistan International School Riyadh, Nasariya; Pakistan International School Riyadh, Sulaymania and Middle East International School will be taking part.

Tournament details, rules, regulations, format and schedule were explained by Asif Shaikh to school representatives.
