JEDDAH: REDTAG advanced to the semifinals of the Non-Rated Division Group A category in the OFBL 6th Conference after defeating Jeddah Pards in their knock out Friday morning game Friday at Timeout Sports Academy gymnasium on Television St., Ghulail District on the outskirts of Jeddah.

REDTAG played well all game long in the 94-88 victory. Red Tag showed speed, agility and team work led by Geniza, Noy Magat and Jay Liam as they scored 18, 17 and 20 points respectively.

Mangalindan top-scored for Jeddah Pards with 30 points.

REDTAG at 3-3 qualified No. 4 for the semis and will be up against a formidable opponent in top qualifier Batang Faisal which swept the eliminations for an immaculate 6-0 record. It will be against Toyota against JamJoom in another knockout semifinal game.

In evening action, Ibn Sina took the last spot of the semis in the Inter-Company Bonafide B Division after its last game with Al Majduie was declared won by forfeit.

Ibn Sina tied King Faisal Naval Base and CityMax on identical 5-2 win-loss card in the team standings, while AIC was on the top with 7-0 record.

Ibn Sina will be facing AIC for a spot in the championship. CityMax and King Faisal Naval Base face off in the other final four contest.
