RJT Transient House notched a perfect Team of the Week and men’s Bowler of the Week double in an early show of force during the second week of the OFBC 4 + 1 Friday Afternoon League Season 3 at the Ice Land Bowling Center here.

In winning its second straight Team of the Week award RJT became the first team to register the perfect 28 with a 20-0 shutout of D’ Luf’s Strikers and its total pinfalls of 2,286 was worth 8 rank points.

Joel Nidoy, a two-time perfect 300 game achiever, finally hit form to end more than a year of Bowler of the Week drought as he scored the high series of 596 on scratch games of 167,207 and 204 to complete a RJT double. Nidoy managed to get this distinction despite his busy schedule as the league commissioner, truly a bonus for one who doesn’t get to play as much as he wants.

Defending champion Red Dragons bounced back from an opening week defeat to RJT beating The Replacement 2 16-4 on total pinfalls of 2,127-2,109, rank points of 7-6 and total win points of 23-10.

Along with the win Red Dragons got the ladies Bowler of the Week plum courtesy of Fatima Jintarat who rolled her division’s top score of 575 on lines of 180, 181 and 166.

For the second straight week, Carlos Sportswear enjoyed another day on the lanes with a decisive 18-2 victory over Archie & Company on total pinfalls of 2,094-2,023, rank points of 3.5-2 and total win points of 21.5-4.

In the other match, Pairs & Spares crushed The Youngsters 18-2 (2,094-2,022 3.5-1 and 21.5-3).

Ed Cordova backed up Joel at RTJ with 586, as did Joel’s wife Malou Nidoy who rolled 573. Hadi Pacheco contrbuted 526 and skipper Rudy “RJ” Jamon had 453.

In addition to Jintarat Cesar Pagtalunan did well at Red Dragons on 512 that went with the 143-170 and 136-177 by co-captains Manny Tibay and Bash Lang and 161-145 by Tom Langa.

Louie Pacia took charge at Carlos Sportswear with a 563. Jameel Gabrera came through with 519, Christine Stone tossed in 466, team captain Vov Stone had 17-170 while Gino Vallejos aded 157.

For Pairs & Spares Jhune Estefano led the way on 578. Conrad Baltazar had 491, team captain Joey Calapatia tallied 143-128, while Akang Victorino and Alona Antinero each fired two gaemes of 143-116 and 162-153.
