RIYADH: Sama Steel registered a comfortable seven-wicket win over Riyadh Aces in the on going 40-over Al Kharja League for the SSC Cup organized by the Riyadh Cricket Association.
Riyadh Aces posted 136 for 9 wickets. Hassan was the lone performer with 64 runs. Asif and Raja shared 2 wickets each. In reply, Sama Steel chased the target in just 12.1 overs. Raja 48 and Irshad 34 led the team to victory. Yasir picked up 2 wickets.
In another match, Pakistan Falcons defeated Falcons by 6 runs. Pakistan Falcons batted first posted 181 for 9. Nouman top-scored with 40 while Matiullah and Hamza contributed 31 and 27 runs respectively. Nadeem Shah bagged 3 wickets. Saleem and Farhan collected 2 each.
In reply, Falcons were restricted to 175 runs only. Kamran smashed a quick-fire 54 runs, Ismael scored 28. Jadon grabbed 3 wickets. Farooq, Arif and Noman shared 6 wickets each.
