Former champion Saudi Hollandi Bank enjoyed another sterling performance as it blanked SAMA-Abana 360-0 during the 12th session in the Interbank Tenpin Bowlers of Riyadh (ITBR) league being played Monday nights at the Universal Bowling Center in Riyadh.

SHB never gave its opponent a chance to score and romped off with the Team of the Week honours for the second time. Cholo Nieto led SHB to victory on four-game series of 782. Gerry Ayonon (780), Rommel Caluncagin (770) and Clem Salazar (685) supported Nieto, with . Arnel Bernabe on 517 and Gil Hembra on 173.

SAMA team captain Teody Zulaybar had little room to maneuver given a four-man lineup. He led his team with 775 followed by Clem Guelas (733), Jun Macarandan (703) and Bernie Torres (681).

Shabab-SABB continued to shine to blank handicap-rich BSF-CBG 340-60 and in the process improved a notch higher, replacing BSF at second place in the team standings. Veteran Jaffer Al Khatiri and straight bowler Luis Bonguit inspired their teammates on 777 and 769. Captain Ahmed Qarquosh rolled 727 while Gerry Austria and Arnold Jesena contributed 709 and 692.

In BSF-CBG, Art Bumatay tallied 790 four-game series while captain Ken Hechanova, Alfred Estrada, Guilbert Masias and Dennies Buot carded 747, 743, 672 and 638 respectively.

Riyad Bank brought down Saudi Investment Bank in three games 320-190 and retained the top spot with a comfortable lead of 365 points against second placer Shabab-SABB. The pair of Ronald Cruz and Sonny Alviso burned the lanes to shoot 753 and 705. They were assisted by veteran James Frizzle and captain Zohair Oquilan who rolled 599 and 525 while Freddie Solomon, Mixi Lechuga and Patrick Alviso had 411, 371 and 365.

Captain Dong Calub finally hit his best form as he outbowled everyone for Bowler of the Week honos on 872. Veteran Ed Robillos, Joey Salem and Eddison Austria produced the required output of 812, 687 and 684 to grab the third game from their opponent. Ric Cura and Gil Catulay rolled 305 and 267.

The match between Banque Saudi Fransi and Alinma Bank ended in a 2-2 draw. However, it was Alinma Bank that edged ahead with 30 bonus points to win the match 270-240. Straight bowler Willie Bondoc was the second highest scorer of the week as he carded 821 four game series. He was assisted by Jerry Barce (769), Angelo Train (728) and Jojo de Silva (724). Abdulrahman Ahmed rolled 463 in three games while Rainier Torres had 199.
