Bilal Abdul Sawar defeated Anas Hussam AlRamadan 11-5, 11-9 in the final to win the InterContinental Riyadh Junior Squash Tournament recently.

The final match culminated a weekend of fabulous matches at the InterCon squash courts.

Sawar and Hussam set up their title showdown by winning their semifinal assignments against Taufeeq 11-9, 11-5 and Daniel Mahmoon 11-3, 11-2.

Participants were divided into two groups. League matches were held and two players from each group qualified for the semifinal. Each player played a total of nine matches.

The Group A semifinalists were Sawar and Mahmoon with AlRamadan and Taufeeq advancing from Group B.

During the awarding ceremony InterContinental Riyadh Recreation Manager Mounir Melliti expressed his great delight at the successful completion of the tournament and underscored the importance of kids playing sports. Raees Khan, InterContinental squash coach, thanked the players and parents for their support.
