Slowly but surely, the Sebo Boys mentored by Koko Torres worked their way to the Team of the Week award while Reynald Medina romped off with the Bowler of the Week award during the 15th session in the FBGR – Almarai Co. Saturday Bowling League.

The event being held at the Universal Bowling Center (UBC) is organized by the Filipino Bowling Group of Riyadh (FBGR).

Sebo Boys, banking on the good games from Torres, Ruel Pingol and Angel Caasi, rolled past RG512 for Colthes 23-9, to emerge as the week’s best.

Torres led the Sebo Boys by posting an impressive four game series of 883 on lines of 236, 169, 203 and 155, while Pingol added 867, Caasi 840, Pines Pingol 795 and Glenn Dela Cruz 687 in three games played. At the helm of RG512 for Clothes were Ahmed Al-Qarquosh 857, Shakur Kamlian 815, Mike Ecalnir 813, Rocky Manipon 790 and Thong Asuncion 720.

Medina of Nadec Strokers rolled the high series of 963 (246, 190, 247 and 208) to earn the individual award as his team won by default over Alfanar Precast Team 19-0. The other scorers at Nadec were Danny Nabong 842, Atoi Ramos 796, Lito Remo 714 and Reinhard Miller 660 points.

In another encounter, Eraserheads mentored by Armin Isles edged Carry Over piloted by Lulu Quejada 17-15 in 2-2 match.

Jojo Gabriel with 837 was the top scorer of the winning team, which also received contributions from Fernie Ballano 822, Edwin Atienza 816, Ronald Bautista 806 and Joe Garrido 789. For the losers top scorer was Nap Torres 864. Celis Viloria had 852, HRH MS 794, Abdullah Amoudi 792 and Jerry Damiray 719.

Kapit-Bisig mentored by Clem Ojeda upset SABB Tenpin Wizard piloted by Allan Ofreneo 20-16. Omar Valdez bowled 896 to lead the winning team supported by Jojie Manalansan 890, James Boyd 882, Shawn Ricketts 824 and Zaldy Torres 775 points.

In other matches, Alinma Bank of Abdulrahman Ahmed defeated Proshop Strikers mentored by Ric Uruttia Jr. 14-11, Alsalam Knights of Bandar Al-Marshad won over Expendibles of Hani Al-Nasleh 17-6 while Almarai Co. of Emerson Mitra walloped Exodus of Benny Mondoy 23-6.
