RIYADH: Shouraim scored a thrilling two-run win over Lahore Badshah to enter the next round of the Al-Kharj Zone Sikander Farooqui Memorial Tournament organized by Riyadh Cricket Association and sponsored by the Saudi Cricket Center, here.

Shouraim batted first and posted 383. Zeeshan top-scored with 104 followed by Nouman 88 and Rizwan 80. Asif picked 4 wickets while Shoaib got 2.

Lahore Badshah chased brilliantly led by Yassir’s gallant 106 and scored 381 runs. Other notable contributions came from Fahad 88, Wahab 48, Asif 44, Adnan 32 and Adeel 30. Zeeshan picked 3 wickets.

In another close match of the same zone, Amir Holidays beat KFSH Blues by 10 runs. Amir Holidays put on board 328 for 9 off 40 overs. Sajid Saeed scored 80. Imran (79), Irfan (56) and Nadeem (32) were the other run getters. Imtiaz and Irshad picked 3 wickets each.

KFSH Blues started well and looked good for the chase, but collapsed at the end.

Khurram Baig (99), Qaiser Hussain (86) and Nasir Abbasi (38) were the main scorers. Nadeem took 3 wickets while Imran and Sami got 2 each.

In Huraymala Zone: Riyadh Warriors beat Crescent by 3 wickets. Crescent managed 158 for 5 with contributions from Faisal (56), Mubashir (35), Imran (28) and Mohsin (23). Shaik took 3 wickets.

Warriors achieved their target in 19.2 overs. Abdulraheem (36), Abdulaziz (27), Shaik (25), Abdulgafoor (22) and Majid (22) took their team home. Moazam and Mohsin grabbed two wickets each.

LCC beat Green Bangla by 6 wickets. Green Bangla batted first and scored 157. Naeem took 4 wickets while Jahangir got 3. LCC achieved their target in 17.5 overs with contributions from Salman (50), Amir (42) and Asif (26).

KFSH Green beat FUCHS by 2 wickets. FUCHS batted first and scored 167 for 5. Nazim was the main scorer with 47 runs. Safdar took 2 wickets. KFSH Green reached their target after 19.4 over. Rafaqat dazzled for his 72 runs.

In another match, Indian Strikers batted first and scored 153 runs. Sulaiman was the pick of the bowlers and took 3 wickets. Shakeel, Ejaz and Qamar got 2 wickets each. Sulaiman XI achieved their target in 12.5 overs. Azhar (43), Mudassir (38) and Sulaiman (36) were the main scorers. Sulaiman XI won by 8 wickets.

Riyadh Zone: Nouman Gymkhana beat Friends XI by 34 runs. Nouman Gymkhana scored 224 runs. Shahzad was the highest scorer with 81 runs. Etrut picked 3 wickets. Friends XI in reply managed 190 runs. Abdulrahim got 41.

Grundfos thrashed Majlis-e-Pakistan (MPCC) by 102 runs. Grundfos top-scored with 149 runs. Faris supported him with 60. MPCC crashed for 47 runs. Ali, Imran and Arsalan picked 2 wickets each.

Kashmir XI routed Pak Eagles by 40 runs. Kashmir XI scored 167 for 6. Shabir and Fayyaz hit 52 and 37 respectively. Saqib took 3 wickets while Wahid got 2. Pak Eagles managed 127. Azhar Banday picked 4 wickets while Basit got 3.

Kingdom Warriors edged past Pak Fighters by 1 wicket. Pak Fighters scored 111 with contributions from Ismail (23) and Halal (21). Farhan took 4 wickets. Warriors reached their target in 18.3 overs. Zeeshan scored 21 runs. Waseem took 4 wickets.

TBCC got the better of Delhi Dare Devils by 57 runs. TBCC batted first and scored 186. Khader (53) and Faisal (51) impressed with their batting. Dare Devils managed 129. Lajeesh picked 3 wickets.
