RIYADH: Shouraim scored a thrilling one-wicket win over CKK to enter the knockout stage, from the Al-Kharj Zone, of the American Express T20 Cup, organized by the Riyadh Cricket Association, recently.

CKK batted first and put up 156. Imran (46) and Najeem (45) were the main run-getters. Nouman impressed with his bowling and bagged 4 wickets.

Shouraim achieved their target after 18.4 overs. Rizwan (45), Bakhti (26) and Mudassir (25) were the main contributors. Nouman Ashgar took 4 wickets while Ali and Zahid got 2 each.

AL-KHARJ ZONE: In another match, KFSH Blues defeated Saudi Jaguars by 6 wickets. Jaguars scored 135. Danish top-scored with 48. Abdul Malik picked 4 wickets and Raja Gulraiz got 2. KFSH Blues chased the target in 10.3 overs. Irshad Mubashir scored a match-winning 70.

Lahore Badshah routed Punjab Lions by 8 wickets. Punjab Lions batted first and managed 168. Jamshaid (46), Usman (29) and Salman (25) did their best. Gul Khan took 3 wickets while Akram and Shoaib shared four wickets. Lahore Badshah reached their target off 17.1 overs. Abdul Wahab was in top form and scored an unbeaten 116. Yassir got 37.

Later, Stallions edged past Lahore Lions by 1 run. Stallions batted first and scored 192. Imran Younous Jutt proved to be match winner as he scored 87 runs. Shakoor got 38. Lahore Lions scored 191 in reply. Younous Jutt also bowled well and took 2 wickets.

HURAYMALA ZONE: Star XI scored a comfortable 6-wicket win over Green Bangla. Green Bangla scored 173 for 7. Asif took 3 wickets while Imtiaz got 2. Star XI achieved the target off 15.4 overs. Bilal remained not out on 110. Abbas supported him with 31.

Al Momen International School totaled 144 for 8 against KFSH. Mansoor Ali took 4 wickets. KFSH Green fell short by 21 runs and scored 123. Noor added 30.

Riyadh Warriors trounced Yusafzayi XI by 10 wickets. Yusafzayi XI scored 121. Azhar took 3 wickets while Zafar got 2. Warriors achieved their target off 13.2 overs. Openers Abdulaziz and Majed remained unbeaten on 62 and 54 respectively.

Riyadh Fighters beat Thales by 32 runs. Fighters posted 222. Imran Butt scored 67 while Imran Younous 58. Thales managed 190 in reply. Hyderabadi Warriors beat KFSH Knight Riders by 122 runs.

RIYADH ZONE: Nouman Gymkhana beat Riyadh Royals by 6 wickets. Royals scored 158 for 7. Anwar grabbed 3 wickets while Amjad got 2. Nouman Gymkhana achieved the target off 19 overs. Izhar remained unbeaten on 51. Amjad scored 45 and Mudassir 25.
