OAKLAND, California: San Antonio’s Tiago Splitter tipped in a rebound with 2.1 seconds left to give the Spurs to a 104-102 victory over Golden State on Tuesday, taking a valuable win that came in the absence of their experienced star trio.

Golden State came out on the losing end of a thrilling finish, with Stephen Curry hitting a 3-pointer to tie the game before San Antonio snatched the win on the next possession, as Splitter jumped around the rim to get the decisive touch after two teammates had missed chances to sink the winning basket.

San Antonio was missing Tony Parker for the second straight game with a bruised shin, while Tim Duncan and Manu Ginobili were rested, yet the Spurs still managed to pull out a big road win and hand the Warriors another devastating defeat in a rematch of last season’s Western Conference semifinals.

Marco Belinelli scored 28 points for San Antonio, against his old team, while Kawhi Leonard and Patty Mills both topped 20 points in a season high for all three.

David Lee had 32 points and 13 rebounds for the Warriors, while Curry scored 30 points and tied his career high with 15 assists.

In the day’s other match, Kevin Durant scored 32 points and Russell Westbrook added 20 on Thursday as Oklahoma City beat Chicago 107-95 to remain the only NBA team with a perfect home record this season.

The Thunder have won all 13 of their home games so far this campaign.

With their eighth straight victory, and their 16th in 17 games, they improved to 21-4 overall, the best record in the NBA.

Joakim Noah had 23 points and 12 rebounds for the injury-depleted Bulls, who dropped their fourth straight decision.

Taj Gibson scored 16 points and D.J. Augustin added 15 for the Bulls, who were without Luol Deng and Kirk Hinrich and saw Jimmy Butler depart early with a right ankle injury.

British forward Deng sat out with a sore Achilles tendon that had seen him miss four other games this month.

Guard Hinrich missed his fourth straight game with a back injury.

The Bulls are now 3-11 since losing former NBA Most Valuable Player Derrick Rose to a knee injury that required surgery last month.
