On the 15th week of the Almarai-FBGR Sunday Bowling League 13th Conference Sweet Angel Vipers and Prince Mohammad (MS) emerged Best Team of the Week and Best Bowler of the Week at the Universal Bowling Center.

Almarai Company sponsored the league under the aegis of Filipino Bowling Group of Riyadh (FBGR).

Sweet Angel Vipers mentored by Angel Caasi took advantage of a Thales team with a blind lineup to score a 4-0 shutout victory on 25-6 points. Dawood Sereno was the Vipers’ main man when he shot 940 points. Backing up Sereno were Reiner Torres 877, Caasi 833 and Nelson Respicio 772. Koko Torres added 407 and Glenn Dela Cruz 386. Scorers for the losing team were Ramon Chua 856, Cheng Lambo 783, Ryan Iñigo 762 and Boy Mirando 714 points.

Carry Over mentored by Lulu Quejada defeated Alinma Bank of Abdulrahman Ahmed 19-10 with their ace player MS at the helm as he shot 898 on lines of 268, 214, 211 and 205 to capture the individual award. In addition to MS the others that carried the load at Carry Over were Bembol Velaco 791, Rodel Maranca 753, Abdullah Amoudi 687 and Nap Torres 524.

The match between Team Irene of Dong Yamco and Lope Ramirez’s Nadec Strokers ended in a 2-2 draw on 19-17 points. Team Irene had Shawn Ricketts leading the way on 864 followed by Yamco 848, Lady Dee Urbano 820, Jao Urbano 792 and Irene Pua 766. Scorers at Nadec Strokers were Jove Marano 825, Atoi Ramos 791, Reynald Medina 786, Ruben Babasa 785 and Danny Nabong 776.

In another match, FBGR Selection of Mike Ecalnir blanked Proshop Strikers 4-0 (19-2). Joel Lambo led FBGR on 769 with Jojo Miraflor on 766, Omar Valdez 763, and Ecalnir 748, while James Boyd contributed 517 and Benito Santos 162. Ruby and Urrutia paced Proshop on 803 and 724 while Butch Mateo came through with 677 and Manny Lebrilla had 593 points.

In other matches, Almarai Co. of Jhun Daniel edged IBG Storm of Ric Singson 18-15, United Global of Jeff Nierva pipped RG512 for Clothes 20-19 and Alsalam Knights beat Look Up Boys 19-15.
