TGIT Genesis and Art Yukong took their turn to sizzle, clinching the Best Team of the Week and Best Bowler of the Week awards respectively during the sixth session in the Alyoum-FBGR Tuesday Bowling league 12th Conference at the Universal Bowling Center here.

Alyoum sponsored the league under the auspices of Filipino Bowling Group of Riyadh (FBGR).

TIGT Genesis mentored by Rollie Cleofe blanked highly ranked Alyoum team of FGBR Chairman Emerson Mitra 4-0 (22-4 points) in a big upset.

Bernie Bacani led the Genesis charge scoring 878 points. Providing good support to Bacani were Rollie Cleofe 791, Efren Abuyo 776 and Rizal Dellosa 699. Angel Caasi and Edison Sesperes added 393 and 347. Top scorer for the losing team was Lady Beth Danganan 808 followed by Doy Del Moral 691, Alex Armada 684, Fhel Ramos 655, Jun Daniel 457 and Mitra 174.

In another encounter, Enigma Strikers mentored by Bandar Al-Marshad beat Dabarkadz of Charlie Cheng 19-8 with their ace bowler Yukong making it a double celebration by claiming the individual award after shooting the high series of 923 points. Joe Garrido was solid on 816, Erwin Nacario had 737, Edwin Atienza 709 and Al-Marshad 678 for Enigma. Ruel Pingol showed the way at Dabarkadz on 829 while Charlie Cheng contributed 757, Larry Manalo 708, Donjie Mapalad 612, Obet Miranda 379 and Glenn Dela Cruz 316.

Dong Yamco’s Minions demolished EPO-L of Lope Ramirez 22-12. Team captain Yamco led by example with his 882 followed by Lady Dee Urbano 843, Jao Urbano 813 and Romy Repia 796. Koko Torres made 571 and KC Enriquez posted 172, while from the losing team Jove Marano was the top scorer on 819 with Reynald Medina on 772, Lope Ramirez 758, Freddie Santiago 753 and Atoi Ramos 748 points.

In another match of highly ranked teams UBC Family mentored by Lulu Quejada smashed UFTBR of Armin Isles 20-12. Leading scorer for the winning team was HRH MS on 864. Celis Viloria added 819, Abdullah Amoudi 789 and Bembol Velasco 784 while Dennis Gabriel and Yasser Aburaish each tossed in two games of 361 and 343.

Stephen Solomon 831, Irene Pua 750, Fernie Ballano 749, Art Palustre 747 and Rey Bautista 720 scored for UFTBR.

In other matches, T3S Warriors of Nelson De Vera blanked new team Almarai CPP of Tony Barcoma 15-0, IBG Storm of Ric Singson demolished Die Hard 5 of Ric Urrutia 20-5, and Breakers of Shakur Kamlian upset defending champion Tsamba Bowlers of Abdulrahman Ahmed 21-10.
