MADINAH: Saudi Oger eased past United Stars by six wickets in the second week of the SSC Cup, sponsored by the Saudi Cricket Center and organized by the Madinah Cricket Association.

United Stars batted first and put on board 172 runs thanks to Faiyyazs’ 52 runs. Ateeq supported him with 42. Rashid bagged 3 wickets.

Saudi Oger in reply reached the target in the 19th over for the loss of four wickets. Rashid smashed 52 and Haroon got 30.

In the other match Madinah Pepsi downed Madinah Diamond by one wicket. Madinah Daimond score 135 through Rizwan (35) and Nabeel (34).

Madinah Pepsi achieved thier target of 136 for 9 in the 19th over. Akhtar top-scored with 57. Faisal took 5 wickets for Madinah Diamond.

Bismillah XI batted first managed 141 runs. Arshad and Yaseen scored identical 25 runs each. Tauseef grabbed 2 wkts. Pak Eagle in chase reached the target of 142 in the 14th over to win by 8 wickes. Sharafat (52) and Faiyyaz (62) were the main contributors.

Shining Stars struggled past Sarandeep Sports Club by 2 wickets. Sarandeep opted to bat first and were bowled out for 132. Murshad (60) and Yasser (35) were the main scorers. Ramazan took 2 wickets. Shining Stars scored 133 for 8 for victory. Yasser (24) and Adnan (20) were the main run getters.

United Stars humbled Dada XI by 14 runs. United Stars piled up 162 runs. Ghulam Qader scored an unbeaten 63. Dada in reply were stranded at 148. Akhtar (71), Basharat (35) and Ahmed (25) did their best.
