JEDDAH: ARM, Pak Green and Desert Warriors scored easy victories during the fourth week matches in the Ace Travels Premier League cricket tournament organized by the Jeddah Cricket Association, here.

ARM routed new comers Caravan Travels by 82 runs, Pak Green got the better of Tamer by 6 wickets while Desert Warriors made short work of Natco by 10 wickets.

ARM made first used of the pitch and piled up a respectable total of 221 for 6 against the new entrants.

Opener Rashid Khursheed was in top form and scored 84 off 34 balls. His opening partner Tabraiz gave him company with 22 runs.

Arshad (33) and Atta-ur-Rehman (34) were the other run getters.

Veteran spinner Zahid Khan took 2 for 29 while off spinner Ibrahim bin Mahfooz had 2 for 39. Caravan Travels slumped to 139 for 8. Middle order batsman Amir stood firm against the ARM bowlers and scored 46 off 25 balls. Others who supported Amir were Akram (26) and Zahid Khan (16). Fast bowler Atta-ur-Rahman took 3 for 29 and Rashid Khursheed with his leg spinners had 3 for 27 while medium pacer Mansoor took 2 for 28.

In another match, Tamer scored 189 for 9 wickets in their allotted 20 overs against Pak Green.

Syed Mohammad Afroz (71), Athar (34) Saeed Baum (22 not out) were the main scorers.

Kamran did most of the damage and bagged 4 for 40 while Amir and Rizwan supported him with 2 wickets each.

In reply Pak Green accomplished their target of 190 for 4 off 17 overs.

Asim Ashfaq missed his century and scored 93 runs. Shaan Malik Manzoor 38 and Javed 17 were the main contributors. Sarfaraz bagged 2 for 19.

Elsewhere, Natco batted first and slumped to 108 all out against the inform Desert Warriors. Faisal (23) and Aijaz (19) put up some resistance. Islam 2 for 12, Basil 3 for 12 were the most successful bowlers. Desert Warriors reached their target of 109 without losing any wicket.

Khalid scored a match winning innings of 81 runs off 27 balls while Jafar accompanied him with 24.

Zia-ul-Haque dazzles

In Division-I league, Zia-ul-Haque scored a quick fire 120 off 35 balls and steered MHA to a comfortable six-wicket win over Ittehad. In the other match, Jamoom Fighters routed KAIA by nine wickets.

KAIA batted first and scored 163 runs. Shafique (50), Ahsan Masood (20), Omar (17) and Rafeeq (17) were the main scorers. Usman (3), Saeed (2) and Waseem (2) were the main wickets takers.

In reply Jamoom Fighters reached their target of 170 for 1. Skipper Zulfiqar scored a brisk 62 runs while Waseem was not far behind with an unbeaten 60 runs. Aftab contributed 23.

In the other match, Ittehad batted first and put on board 168 for 7. Mubeen (34), Fahad (28), Azam (37) and Salim (26) were among the runs.

Khalid had magic figures of 4 for 18.

In reply MHA reached 172 for 4 off 16 overs. Zia-ul-Haque single handedly won the match for MHA with his unbeaten 126. Fahad took 2 for 44.

The Reel & Rom team claimed a walk over as Pak Young did not report at the ground on time.
