RIYADH: Mehran, Khalili Stars, Run Riderz, Eleven Stars, Evergreen, Konkan Green and Pak won their matches to enter the next round of the Youm Al-Watani Twenty20 Cricket Tournament, organized by the Riyadh Cricket League, at the RCL Complex.
In the best match of the day, Khalili Stars scored a thrilling two-run win over a fighting Punjab Lions.
Khalili Stars made first use of the track and put up a decent 198 runs on board. Aziz 43, Arif 29 and Shoaib were the main contributors.
In reply, the Lions made a fight of it but unfortunately fell short by a couple of runs. Ejaz led the fightback with a gallant 65. He was supported by Jamshed (30) and Usman (26).
