A strong 4th quarter helped Toyota to seize victory against Subway 68-65 in the OFBL 6th Conference Friday Morning Games at Timeout Sport Academy Stadium on Television St., Ghulail District on the outskirts of Jeddah Friday last week.

Down by 3, Toyota launched a 6-0 run , to have its first taste of lead and gain momentum, employing pressure defense to build a 50-56 lead, a good cushion with 6 minutes left in the 4th quarter.

Although Subway managed to close the gap to just 3 points in the last 2 minutes of the game, Toyota remained strong to impede the enemy comeback attempt compensating on dominance of the boards by its big men.

LLamado played well as he proved unstoppable, attacking Subway defense relentlessly inside the paint and top-scoring with 25 points to become Jollibee Best Player of the game.

Mohammed backed him up with 15 points, Guerero added 11 points and Dorado 7 points plus 10 big offensive rebounds. The tandem of Cabrera 27 points and Razon 9 points, led the losing team.

In the other Bracket B game, Duds Westside staged a comeback to snatch the game from Tune Squad 77-75. The trio of Reyes brothers and Amparado led the winning team. Amparado scored 26 points while the Reyeses combined for 22 points. Monding netted 22 points, and Santiago 14 points for Tune.

In a thrilling Bonafide B Division evening game, AIC hang on to a 100-80 victory over I.B.N. Sina.

Gonda spearheaded AIC with 28 points, followed by Biato 10 points and Digma 9 points. Rosero, who had a team-high 22 points, led I.B.N.Sina’s losing cause.

AIC had a balanced offense with each and every player contributing their share, led by Mercurio 30 points, Pascua 18 points ,Fuentes 10 points and Destresa 8 points. David had 26 points and Lagria 18 points for Sina

In the Inter-Company Bonafide Division, City Max crushed Rabya Tuwal 82-56.

Eusebio scored 33 points and was the Jollibee best player of the game. Salasar and Tondo each scored 16 points in a losing effort at Rabya, while Dupalco had 15 and Mendoza 13 points.

The other game in the Inter-Company Non-rated Division went Saudi Binladen , which trounced Patriot 84-78 .

Dela cruz spearheaded the winning team with 23 points. While Hamdy had 21 points. And for the losing team Roquelio score 22 point and Razon 16 point.

Nahdi Parma deafeated Patriot 52-43 for its second straight victory in Inter-Company Non-rated Division.

Petromin Express brought down KAMC 73-68 in the Inter-Company Reinforced Division.

Padernal had a stellar night with 22 points for the winning team. Melencio had 21 points including 5 triples for the losing team.

Also, Compass dominated FJ Cruiser in the Above 40 Division for a 76-58 win.

Al Nahdi Pharmacy beat Patriot 52-43 in the Inter-Company Non Rated Division last Thursday night.
